The creamy texture of milk, the rich flavor of cheese, and the desi masala of Maggi combine to create the perfect comfort food. This quick recipe is a great choice for office lunches, evening snacks, or weekend treats. Winter makes it even more enjoyable. So, let's learn how to make it.
How to Make Cheesy Maggi with Milk -
Ingredients -
Maggi noodles – 2 packs
Milk – 200 ml
Onion – 1/2 (finely chopped)
Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped)
Butter – 1 tablespoon (20 grams)
Cheese – 20 grams (grated)
Peri peri powder – 2 teaspoons
Garlic powder – 2 teaspoons
Onion powder – 2 teaspoons
Salt – to taste
Water – as needed
Step-by-Step Recipe -
Step 1: Prepare the Base
Heat some water in a pan or wok and add the milk. Let the milk heat slightly to create a creamy texture while cooking the Maggi. Be careful not to curdle the milk, so keep the heat on medium heat.
Step 2: Sauté the onions and chilies
Heat butter in a separate pan. Add finely chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until lightly golden. This step will add a wonderful aroma and a slight sweetness to your Maggi.
Step 3: Cook the Maggi
Now add the Maggi noodles and their tastemaker to the hot milk-water mixture. Reduce the heat to medium and cook the noodles for 2-3 minutes, until they soften slightly.
Step 4: Add the spices and cheese
Now add the sautéed onion-chili mixture, along with all three powders and a little salt. Add the cheese and stir gently until the cheese melts and blends into the milky base.
Step 5: Serve
When the noodles are completely creamy and thick, turn off the heat. Serve hot. You can sprinkle some cheese or peri-peri powder on top for both appearance and taste.
This milky Maggi is perfect for cold weather or when you're feeling a little hungry. Its creamy texture, buttery, and cheesy aroma make every bite special. Try it once, believe me, it will change the way you eat regular Maggi forever!
