The trailer of 120 Bahadur, Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited war drama, has taken audiences by storm with its emotional depth and patriotic fervour. Directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai, the film revisits one of the most defining moments in Indian military history — the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Indo-China war. Scheduled for release on November 21, 2025, the movie portrays the courage and sacrifice of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who led 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment against thousands of Chinese troops.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Voice Sets the Tone

The trailer opens with Amitabh Bachchan’s commanding narration, recalling a time when India considered China a brotherly nation before betrayal led to war. His deep voice sets the stage for an emotional retelling of a battle fought not only for land but for honour. The narration transitions into powerful visuals that showcase the harsh terrain of Ladakh and the unwavering spirit of Indian soldiers.

Farhan Akhtar delivers an intense portrayal of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, leading his men with resilience and heart. In one of the trailer’s most striking moments, he declares, “Main ladey bina haar nahi manna chahta” (I don't want to accept defeat without fighting). His performance captures both the grit of a soldier and the quiet strength of a leader. The trailer also offers brief glimpses of Raashii Khanna, who plays his wife, highlighting the emotional cost of war alongside the courage it demands.

Tributes from Yash and Salman Khan

The trailer was unveiled by KGF star Yash, who shared it on X with a heartfelt note: “HONOURING OUR BRAVE, A LEGENDARY TRUE STORY FROM OUR NATION'S HISTORY. 120 BAHADUR - TRAILER OUT NOW. WISHING @FarOutAkhtar, @RazyLivingTheBlues, @ritesh_sid, @vishalrr and the team great success with this important film.”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also praised the trailer on Instagram, writing, “Bahut kamal trailer hai. Congratulations @faroutakhtar and the entire team of #120bahadur. Yeh kahani har Indian ke dil mein utregi.” His words echo the growing anticipation surrounding the film.

Shot across real locations in Ladakh, Rajasthan, and Mumbai, 120 Bahadur combines large-scale battle sequences with deeply personal storytelling. The visuals capture the icy terrain and the emotional turmoil of soldiers who stood their ground against impossible odds. The film’s ensemble cast includes Vivan Bhatena, Ajinkya Deo, Eijaz Khan, Dhanveer Singh, and others, contributing to its realistic portrayal of wartime camaraderie.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, along with Amit Chandrra from Trigger Happy Studios, the film pays tribute to 120 brave soldiers who defended their post to the last breath. Major Shaitan Singh’s bravery earned him the Param Vir Chakra posthumously, and his men’s sacrifice became a defining chapter in India’s military history.
